Our Courses

We offer courses in Plastering, Brickwork, Basic Carpentry, Glaze Tiling, Basic Plumbing and Groundworking. Health and Safety is an important part of any type of building work and will be discussed at all appropriate times throughout the courses. It is a requirement of the courses that appropriate clothing, boots etc be worn at all times during working hours. Please see advice about workwear. The courses are supported by a workbook to keep for future reference. All tools needed to practice on the course will be available as required. Persons taking the course are invited to bring and recommended to use their own tools where possible. Please see advice about tools. We do not offer courses in Electrical work as this is a trade best conducted by fully competent persons trained to a recognised vocational standard. For reasons of safety we do not use powered hand tools on the courses but do discuss them as appropriate.
